Specification Polished Concrete Flooring All Polished Concrete floors are available in Glass Reinforce (GRC) Steel reinforced concrete or Lytag concrete. Some of the Priori range patterns are also available as flooring tiles. Tiles Sizes: GRC 400 x 400 x 25mm 600 x 400 x 25mm 1000 x 1000 x 30mm Lytag and steel reinforced 400 x 400 x 35mm 600 x 400 x 35mm 600 x 600 x 35mm Other dimensional pieces can be produced to order, but any lengths over 600mm will require the thickness of the concrete to be increased.

Maintenance All concrete surfaces are impregnated and sealed to protect against marking. To insure that Concrete Blond tiles remain in pristine condition it is essensail that a protective coating is continualy used. These are divided into two categories. - Sealers are predominantly resin or wax based, and form a protective layer upon the surface of the concrete. - Impregnators which tend to be water based Fluoropolymers and permeate into the top 5mm of the concrete and prevent most stains from ingressing into the concrete. Cleaning Stain removal All spillages should be mopped up as quickly as possible with continually replaced clean warm water, particularly if the medium is aggressive such as red wine, coffee, or oils. - High Traffic Floors Occasional machine cleaning with a soft padded scrubber-drier with clean water. It should be noted that the use of industrial cleaning machines would shorten the life of sealers and impregnators. - Low Traffic Floors Weekly damp mopping with clean water.
